Hot tub water care is so important. Make sure you have the right chemicals. http://buff.ly/1H7tKD1
The Health Benefits of Black Salt<br /><br />Salt is one of those substances that human civilization is built upon, not only for its taste, but also for its health benefits and its ability to preserve food.<br /><br />The Indian black salt, also known as 'Kala Namak', is a popular variety of Indian volcanic stone salts. It sees extensive use in India, Pakistan and internationally, by those who know its benefits. Its unusual color comes from the presence of tiny amounts of iron and other minerals.<br /><br /><br /><br />This special salt is found in the Himalayan mountain ranges and has some excellent health benefits that you should know about. In India, black salt is often prescribed for patients with high blood pressure or those who require a low-salt diet. Why? Because black salt is low on sodium, and so doesn't raise the blood pressure like normal salt does. It is also a popular treatment for heartburn and intestinal gas. In short, it provides a boost to the digestive system.<br /><br />The health benefits of black salt:<br /><br />1. A healthy alternative to sea salt<br /><br />Salt is incredibly common in everyday life. We find it in a huge amount of snacks and dishes. This is usually iodized salt or sea salt. However, an overdose of salt in our daily lives is a common problem that may lead to paralysis, thyroid problems and high blood pressure, to count a few. The two most dangerous chemicals in sea salt are potassium iodate and aluminum silicate. This is why sea salt is banned in some countries. However, black salt is a great alternative to iodized salt, and here are a few of its benefits compared to iodized salt:<br /><br />- Treats arthritis problems<br />- Treats paralysis problems<br />- Lowers high blood pressure<br />- Deals with impotency issues<br /><br /><br />2. The therapeutic benefits<br /><br />According to centuries of tradition, black salt is a 'cooling' salt that is filled with therapeutic benefits. It can be used as a laxative and as a cure for intestinal disorders. It has benefits for eyesight and unlike common salt, does not enhance your sodium intake. Due to its high sulfur content. However, due to its high sulfur content, it can also weaken the digestion in large amounts, and so a balanced use is recommended, no more than you would regular salt.<br /><br /><br />3. Soft, beautiful looking skin<br /><br />Another use for black salt is skincare. Instead of chemical peels, special soaps and spas, consider adding black salt to your bath water. It works as an excellent healing agent, especially good for cracked, swollen feet, athlete's foot, warts and sprains. Just sit back and let it heal your pain and relieve your worries while you enjoy a truly refreshing bath. When you come out, your body will feel truly rejuvenated.<br /><br />Note: If your skin is sensitive to irritation, it's best not to make the water too hot, or you may incur some itchiness.<br /><br /><br />4. Strong, problem-free hair<br /><br />If you're one of many who suffer from a receding hairline, you're probably frustrated by all the supplements and tonics that never seem to work. So try something more natural this time. The essential minerals in black salt will boost your hair's natural growth, strengthen it and treat its split ends. If you have dandruff or acute hair loss, I recommend taking black salt with tomato juice at least once a day. Not only will it encourage hair growth, but will also make your hair thicket, with more sheen and luster.<br /><br /><br />Do try to use this wonderful natural product and see the difference for yourself. Don’t forget to shoot us a comment. Stay fit and stay healthy!

HAND SKIMMER: A screen attached to a frame which is then attached to a telescopic pole used to remove large floating debris, such as leaves and bugs, from the water's surface.

HEATER: A fossil-fueled, electric or solar device used to heat the water of a pool, hot tub or hot tub.

NEUTRALIZER: A chemical used to make chlorine or bromine harmless. Used in test kits to counteract the bleaching effect of the chlorine or bromine in order to increase the accuracy of pool water tests. Sold as chlorine and bromine neutralizer, it is used to destroy excessive amounts of chlorine or bromine so the high levels will not affect swimmers.

OXIDIZER: A non-chlorine shocking compound that removes or destroys built-up contaminants and chloramines in pool water without raising chlorine levels.

PUMP: A mechanical device, usually powered by an electric motor, which causes hydraulic flow and pressure for the purpose of filtration, heating and circulation of pool and hot tub water. Typically, a centrifugal pump is used for pools, spas and hot tubs.

PUMP CAPACITY: The volume of liquid a pump is capable of moving during a specified period of time. This is usually listed in gallons per minute or gpm.

pH: Abbreviation for Potential Hydrogen. Indicates the level of acidity or alkalinity of water on a scale ranging from 0-15. A low pH can cause etched plaster, metal corrosion and eye irritation. A high pH can cause scale formation, chlorine inefficiency and eye irritation. The ideal range for pH in swimming pools is typically 7.4 to 7.6.

SANITIZERS: Chemical compounds designed to kill bacteria, algae and other living organisms. Also protects water from the effects of the sun.

SHOCK TREATMENT: The practice of adding significant amounts of an oxidizing chemical -- (usually non-chlorine oxidizers, such as sodium persulfate or potassium peroxymonosulfate) -- to the water to destroy ammonia and nitrogen compounds caused by swimmers, the environment and/or weather.

SKIMMER: A device installed through the wall of a pool or hot tub that is connected to the suction line of the pump that draws water and floating debris in the water flow from the surface without causing much flow restriction.

SKIMMER BASKET: A removable, slotted basket or strainer placed in the skimmer on the suction side of the pump, which is designed to trap floating debris in the water flow from the surface without causing flow restriction.

TEST KIT: An apparatus or device used to monitor specific chemical residuals, levels, constituents or demands in pool or hot tub water. The most common pool and hot tub water tests are: pH, total alkalinity, free available chlorine, water hardness, cyanuric acid, iron and copper.

TURBIDITY: The cloudy condition of the water due to the presence of extremely fine particles in suspension that cannot be trapped by the filter because they are too small. Adding a clarifier, such as an organic polymer or alum, will coagulate the particles and make the filter more efficient.

WATER CLARIFIER: Also called coagulant or flocculant . A chemical compound used to gather (coagulate or agglomerate) or to precipitate suspended particles so they may be removed by vacuuming or filtration. There are two types; inorganic salts of aluminum (alum) and other metals or water-soluble organic polyelectrolytes.

WEIR: The small floating "door" on the side of the skimmer that faces the water over which water flows on its way to the skimmer. Adjusts automatically to small changes in water level to assure a continuous flow of water to the skimmer. The weir also prevents debris from floating back into the pool after the pump shuts off. Also known as a skimmer weir.">GLOSSARY OF POOL TERMS from swimmingpool.com<br /><br />AIR-RELIEF VALVE: A manually-operated  valve located at the top of a filter tank for relieving the pressure inside the filter and removing the air inside the filter (bleeding the filter). Also known as a pressure-relief valve.<br /><br />ALGAE: Microscopic plant-like organisms that contain chlorophyll. Algae is nourished by carbon dioxide (CO2) and use sunlight to carry out photosynthesis. It can be introduced by rain or wind and grows in colonies, producing nuisance masses. Algae can harbor bacteria and can be slippery. There are thousands of known species of algae. The most common types of algae found in pools are black, blue-green, green and mustard .<br /><br />ALGAECIDES: Chemical compounds designed to kill, prevent and control algae.<br /><br />AUTOMATIC POOL CLEANER: A pool maintenance system that will agitate and/or vacuum debris from the pool interior automatically.<br /><br />BACKFLOW: The backing up of water through a pipe in the direction opposite to normal flow.<br /><br />BACKWASH: The process of thoroughly cleaning the filter by reversing the flow of water through it with the dirt and rinse water going to waste.<br /><br />BALANCERS: Chemical compound designed to prevent corrosion and staining by balancing the pH, total alkalinity and calcium hardness in pool water.<br /><br />BROMIDE: A common term for a bromide salt used to supply bromide ions to the water so they may be oxidized or changed into hypobromous acid. Used as a disinfectant.<br /><br />BROMINE: A common name for a chemical compound containing bromine that is used as a disinfectant to destroy bacteria and algae in swimming pools and spas.<br /><br />CENTRIFUGAL PUMP: A pump consisting of an impeller fixed on a rotating shaft and enclosed in a casing or volute and having an inlet and a discharge connection. The rotating impeller creates pressure in the water by the velocity derived from the centrifugal force.<br /><br />CHECK VALVE: A mechanical device in a pipe that permits the flow of water or air in one direction only.<br /><br />CHEMICAL FEEDER: A device that dispenses chemicals into pool or hot tub water at a predetermined rate. Some dispense chlorine or bromine while others dispense pH-adjusting chemicals.<br /><br />CHLORINE NEUTRALIZER: A chemical used to make chlorine harmless. Used in test kits to counteract the bleaching effect of the chlorine or bromine in order to increase the accuracy of pool water tests. Sold as chlorine and bromine neutralizer, it is used to destroy excessive amounts of chlorine or bromine so the high levels will not affect swimmers.<br /><br />CHLORINE: A term used to describe any type of chlorine compound used as a disinfectant in swimming pool and hot tub water or to kill, destroy or control bacteria and algae. In addition, chlorine oxidizes ammonia and nitrogen compounds cause by swimmers.<br /><br />COPING: The cap or top lip on the pool or hot tub wall that provides a finished edge around the pool or spa.<br /><br />CORROSION: The etching, pitting or eating away of the pool or hot tub or equipment. Can be caused by improper water balance, misuse of acid or acidic products or from soft water.<br /><br />COVER, SOLAR: A cover that, when placed on the water's surface of a pool, hot tub or hot tub, increases the water temperature by absorption and transmission of solar radiation; reduces evaporation and prevents debris from entering the water.<br /><br />D.E.: Diatomaceous Earth — a porous substance used in certain types of pool filters.<br /><br />DRAIN: This term usually refers to a plumbing fitting installed on the suction side of the pump in pools, spas and hot tubs. Sometimes called the main drain, it is located in the deepest part of the pool, hot tub or hot tub. It does not function like a drain on a kitchen sink. Pool main drains do not allow the water to drain to waste but rather connect to the pump for circulation and filtration.<br /><br />FIBERGLASS: Finespun filaments of glass which are available in a rope or mat form. When used in a process with polyester resins, catalysts and hardeners, can be formed or molded into pools and spas.<br /><br />FILTER: A device that removes dissolved or suspended particles from water by recirculating the water through a porous substance (a filter medium or element). The three types of filters used in pools and spas are sand, cartridge and D.E. Overcoming dandruff issues
Dandruff and an itchy scalp is probably one of the biggest and most common offshoots of the sun playing havoc on hair. Says cosmetologist Dr Jaishree Manchanda, "There are two types of dandruff, oily and dry. Oily dandruff is dangerous as its eats away the pigment of your hair, while dry dandruff falls off. The former can give rise to numerous problems like pimples, pigmentation, etc, as dandruff on the scalp prevents blood circulation." She also advises staying away from using heavy oils. "If you have oily skin, just use a lighter oil, like olive oil, and massage it for 15 minutes, followed by a hot towel treatment, then wash it off. Home-based treatments include putting ginger juice on the scalp. Leave it overnight and wash it off. Also, wash hair every alternate day with a mild, anti-dandruff shampoo. Eating green vegetables like palak and methi helps the hair," she adds.

Using henna, a myth
Henna actually dries the hair and most stylists will tell you should not use it, saysa Dr Rais, adding, "Henna makes the hair more porous and can can turn hair brittle. Instead, use a good conditioner, which has a sunscreen or even a hair serum."

How to use hair serums
Hair serums improve the texture of the hair and untangle it, leaving it softer. They are perfect for that dry, frizz that summer bestows. Anyone can use it but there are rules to follow. "If you use too much, the hair can look oily, so, take only a few drops on the fingertips and apply on the hair, not scalp," says Dr Manchanda, adding, "Look for products that have argan oil as well as those with walnut and almond oil. Avoid those having silicon. After you have used a hair serum, don't use a spray after that."

Tips for healthy hair
- Trim away damaged ends of the hair, especially if they are frizzy.
- Wear a hat, scarf or peak cap (not too tight) to protect hair from damaging UV rays.
- Use a hair sunscreen if you are going out between 11am and 4 pm as that is when the sun's rays are harshest.
- Always use a little conditioner on the hair before you go swimming.

Thinking about a hair spa?
States naturopath Nirmala Shetty, "Go natural when it comes to a hair spa. Look for nutrients in what nature provides us. For instance, grind hibiscus into a paste and apply on hair. It darkens and strengthens hair roots. Methi (rich in iron and darkens hair) and neem (antibiotic and has germicidal properties) also increase hair strength. Aloe vera is a powerful antioxidant and can tackle scalp allergies and boils. It is also a great hair strengthener. Avocado is full of antioxidants and is especially good for those who have coloured hair."">Is washing your hair too often okay?<br /><br />Experts talk about tackling greasiness and how often it is okay to wash your tresses<br /><br />It's certainly hot and you're definitely sweating it out while commuting to work, at the gym or even at home. These increased levels of perspiration might make you feel like washing your hair every day. Experts tackle common questions that you may have about this predicament.<br /><br />Is a daily hair wash okay?<br />It's not necessary to do so, feels city cosmetologist Dr Sama Rais.

Fresh Off the Factory Hot Tubs News Press<br />Friday January 2 2015<br /><br />Are Hot Tubs Dangerous?<br /><br />Happy New Years to all our Customers, Friends and Family! Factory Hot Tubs hopes that everyone has a relaxing and fun 2014.<br /><br />Now that all the hustle and bustle of 2014 is over our team here at FHT has been doing some testing and experimenting with our high end therapy spa over the past month! We have heard in the news lately that hot tubs can be bad or dangerous, and this can be true if you are not using your spa correctly!<br /><br />After a month of using our Hot Tub we found that we have experienced a over all improvement with the whole team's health, energy and positivity!  Heat dilates the blood vessels and increases circulation in the body.  This helps enzymes and endorphins (the body’s natural pain relievers) work more rapidly and efficiently on areas of the body, such as muscles and joints, that have been strained, injured or stressed.  Heat also helps cells more easily get rid of metabolic waste, which is replaced by oxygen and the body’s natural nutrients. Buoyancy is a simple physics issue.  The body weighs 90 percent less when suspended in water.  Specific gravity is reduced, and pressure on the spine, muscle groups, ligaments and joints is significantly eased.<br /><br />Our whole team had a overall health improvement and our whole teams energy is up! And unless your are overusing or not treating your hot tub properly with chemicals this is the only way it could be in any way dangerous.<br /><br />From your Friends at Factory Hot Tubs

How to Start Up Your Hot Tub<br /><br />After receiving the delivery of your hot tub you will want to start up your hot tub with the following instructions.<br />Firstly you should have a licensed electrician install your hot tub using the proper wiring and an outdoor GFCI breaker box. Contact us if you require information regarding the electrical requirement of your spa.<br />After the tub is installed you can go ahead and fill up the tub using cool water from your garden hose. Make sure when you start up your hot tub you keep the power off. To fill up your hot tub, take out a filter and fill the tub through the filter hole so that the water will fill the plumbing and components first. This will prevent air lock. Fill up your tub above the filters, slightly below the pillow lines.<br />Once the tub is filled, put your filter back in place. You can now turn the power back on to your spa. Usually your spa will prime for about five minutes, and then turn on automatically beginning its first filtration cycle. It is now completely operational, and will continue to warm up.<br />Check to make sure all your jets are in the open position. Adjustable jets can open and close to change the water pressure. It is important to ensure these jets are open to allow to correct flow of water through the plumbing when you start up your hot tub.<br />If everything is running normally you can test the pumps, lights, waterfalls, etc to ensure everything is working correctly.<br />Begin your first dose of chemicals to your hot tub water. Follow the guide provided by us to properly start up your chemicals. Most usually you will want to add 14 capfuls of Prevent II directly into the water and turn pumps on for one hour, followed by 2 capfuls of Lithium, 2 capfuls of Spa Shock, and 5 capfuls of Spa Clear. Run these chemicals for 20 minutes. Keep your cover open when running chemicals.<br />After you have circulated your chemicals, allow your hot tub to heat up automatically. Typically it will heat about 10 degrees Fahrenheit per hour.<br />That’s it! Now you are ready to start enjoying your spa! Ensure you treat it regularly, and drain your hot tub water every 3-4 months depending on use.<br />To purchase more hot tub chemicals, please visit our Spa Chemical Store!<br />#factoryhottubs #News #Spa #Therapy

The infrared light (invisible light) penetrates deeper in our body and repairs or regenerates cell components. The infrared light also activates the production of endorphin's and blocks pain-transmitting chemicals.<br />The home devices for this purpose typically use Infrared light – Deep penetrating light – at 880nm penetrates to a depth of about 30-40 mm, which makes it an effective pain relief for:<br />1. Herniated and bulging discs<br />2. Muscle related back pain<br />3. Osteoarthritis<br />4. Fibromyalgia<br />5. Pulled and strained muscles, Muscle spasms<br />6. Inflammation<br />7. Nerve injuries<br />8. Sports injuries – Bone fractures and chips, sprains, tennis elbow etc.<br />9. Neck pain and stiffness<br /><br />Red Light Therapy for Skin Rejuvenation<br />YES! Red light easily penetrates the skin, boosts circulation and bringing more blood and nutrients to the area. It also stimulates vital collagen and elastin production. Collagen helps plump the skin, while elastin firms the skin. The red light is energizing and repairing damaged cells, stimulating collagen and elastin and giving the skin back its youthful look.<br />Home devices for skin rejuvenation typically use visible red light at a wavelength of 660nm – That penetrates tissue to a depth of about 8-10 mm – Making it more beneficial for treating problems close to the surface of the skin, such as:<br />1. Services : www.ComfoClean.com<br /><br />Anti-Allergen & Disinfection Treatment<br /><br />Breathe Easy with ComfoClean’s Carpet Disinfecting Service<br /><br />Because the everyday use of your carpet leads not only to normal wear and tear, but also to the accumulation of microscopic bacteria and fungi, disinfecting your carpets on a regular basis can help keep odors away. To accomplish this, ComfoClean uses the EPA-approved Microban X-590 Clean Carpet Sanitizer, which is a water-based bactericide, fungicide, deodorant, and insecticide with tracer that specializes in the neutralization, reduction, and control of bacteria and fungi—for a whole year.<br /><br />How Does Microban Work?<br /><br />The Microban X-590 system works by applying anionic biocides—electrically charged chemicals that control the growth of organic material—into your carpets, which kills any bacterial and fungal growth, while also neutralizing any unpleasant odors. As both a disinfectant and an insecticide, Microban can kill harmful bacteria as a result of sewage or toilet overflows, which can be especially useful for restoration professionals, but it also kills roaches, lice, fleas, ants, beetles, and bedbugs and their larvae, which can be effective for communal living facilities, such as college dorms, nursing facilities, hotels, and more. In addition, due to the specialized procedure with which Microban is applied, your carpet fibers will be softer and more resistant to wear.<br /><br />Microban was originally FDA approved for cleaning businesses that experience heavy traffic, or where cleanliness was paramount, such as daycare, beauty and spa institutions, and healthcare facilities. Today however, the system can provide these same benefits for your home.

http://www.healinghandsthaimassage.com.au/<br /><br />The Benefits Of Massage<br />What exactly are the benefits of receiving massage or bodywork treatments? Useful for all of the conditions listed below and more, massage can:<br />Alleviate low-back pain and improve range of motion.<br />Assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers and shorten maternity hospital stays.<br />Ease medication dependence.<br />Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow—the body's natural defense system.<br />Exercise and stretch weak, tight, or atrophied muscles.<br />Help athletes of any level prepare for, and recover from, strenuous workouts.<br />Improve the condition of the body's largest organ—the skin.<br />Increase joint flexibility.<br />Lessen depression and anxiety.<br />Promote tissue regeneration, reducing scar tissue and stretch marks.<br />Pump oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs, improving circulation.<br />Reduce postsurgery adhesions and swelling.<br />Reduce spasms and cramping.<br />Relax and soften injured, tired, and overused muscles.<br />Release endorphins—amino acids that work as the body's natural painkiller.<br />Relieve migraine pain.<br />A Powerful Ally<br />There's no denying the power of bodywork. Regardless of the adjectives we assign to it (pampering, rejuvenating, therapeutic) or the reasons we seek it out (a luxurious treat, stress relief, pain management), massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen.<br /><br />Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. While eliminating anxiety and pressure altogether in this fast-paced world may be idealistic, massage can, without a doubt, help manage stress. This translates into:<br />Decreased anxiety.<br />Enhanced sleep quality.<br />Greater energy.<br />Improved concentration.<br />Increased circulation.<br />Reduced fatigue.<br />Furthermore, clients often report a sense of perspective and clarity after receiving a massage. The emotional balance bodywork provides can often be just as vital and valuable as the more tangible physical benefits.<br /><br />Profound Effects<br />In response to massage, specific physiological and chemical changes cascade throughout the body, with profound effects. Research shows that with massage:<br />Arthritis sufferers note fewer aches and less stiffness and pain.<br />Asthmatic children show better pulmonary function and increased peak air flow.<br />Burn injury patients report reduced pain, itching, and anxiety.<br />High blood pressure patients demonstrate lower diastolic blood pressure, anxiety, and stress hormones.<br />Premenstrual syndrome sufferers have decreased water retention and cramping.<br />Preterm infants have improved weight gain.<br />Research continues to show the enormous benefits of touch—which range from treating chronic diseases, neurological disorders, and injuries, to alleviating the tensions of modern lifestyles. Consequently, the medical community is actively embracing bodywork, and massage is becoming an integral part of hospice care and neonatal intensive care units. Many hospitals are also incorporating on-site massage practitioners and even spas to treat postsurgery or pain patients as part of the recovery process.<br /><br />Increase the Benefits with Frequent Visits<br />Getting a massage can do you a world of good. And getting massage frequently can do even more. This is the beauty of bodywork. Taking part in this form of regularly scheduled self-care can play a huge part in how healthy you'll be and how youthful you'll remain with each passing year. Budgeting time and money for bodywork at consistent intervals is truly an investment in your health. And remember: just because massage feels like a pampering treat doesn't mean it is any less therapeutic. Consider massage appointments a necessary piece of your health and wellness plan, and work with your practitioner to establish a treatment schedule that best meets your needs.<br /><br />Review the clinical research studies examining the benefits of massage.<br /><br />Review massage information from the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, a division of the National Institutes of Health.

Avocado is full of antioxidants and is especially good for those who have coloured hair."

Follow the step
1. Dry skin: Desiccated skin needs many different treatments, Serviss explains. Desiccated skin lacks natural lipids or oils, making it prone to dehydration. Because of this lack of water, the skin's natural exfoliating cycle slows down. Facials that include gentle exfoliation i.e. with enzymes are a great way to take your skin from flakey to wonderful. Desiccated skin also needs both oil and water to balance it out, so Serviss suggests looking for facials that include masks, which will help penetrate product into the skin. One instance is a mask that will rubberize. It may sound a little strange, but any product you put below this type of mask will be pushed into the skin as the mask hardens, leaving your skin feeling hydrated and refreshed.
2. Oily skin: Oily skin produces more oil than it needs. This oil is a magnet for debris, such as skin cells, makeup and pollution, which then cause congestion within the pores. Over time, the congestion becomes hardened, just like plaque on your teeth. Look for facials that include a chemical exfoliant glycolic acid or salicylic acid. This will penetrate into the pores and melt the congestion. Oily skin also needs extractions to remove any hardened wreckage within the pores so long, blackheads! But don't try this at home. Extractions are something your esthetician is trained to do carefully as part of your facial.
3. Combination skin: Serviss's favorite skin type to work with, combination skin, has both oily and desiccated areas, so these areas require to be treated separately. Enzyme, chemical or even microdermabrasion exfoliants work very well, Serviss says. Extractions are also required generally in the T-zone to remove congestion, and a professional treatment mask, such as freeze dried collagen to replenish lost water and soothe the skin.
4. Mature skin: Mature skin can be challenging. It can be oily acne prone, dry/dehydrated or a multitude of skin type combinations. Mature skin also slows down cell production, circulation, so there are many issues to address. Your esthetician will first treat the type of skin oily, desiccated, combination, normal. Then she will have to center on that slowing procedure to increase circulation and saturate the skin with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals for healthier, younger looking skin.
5. Sensitive skin: We have to be careful working with sensitive skin," Serviss notes. All skin needs exfoliation to remove built-up deceased skin, but this needs to be done gently. Facials that use enzymes to exfoliate work very well, because they don't annoy the skin. Also look for products that don't have extreme fragrances or irritants in them.
6. Once you're back at home: Serviss has some easy at home tips for keeping skin looking great:
•   Cleanse to remove debris from the day
•   Use a toner to rehydrate the skin after cleansing rehydrating will make your moisturizers penetrate better.
•   Exfoliate to help with the natural cycle of shedding deceased skin
•   Moisturize to refill.
•   Defend to inhibit free radicals and shield the skin from UV damage.
Everyone should be doing these steps," Serviss says. The steps stay the same for every skin type, but the products you use to complete the steps will be different for everyone. If you are unsure, talk to your esthetician about what products are best for your skin type. The Health Benefits of Black S...

GLOSSARY OF POOL TERMS from swimmingpool.com<br /><br />AIR-RELIEF VALVE: A manually-operated  valve located at the top of a filter tank for relieving the pressure inside the filter and removing the air inside the filter (bleeding the filter). (diatomaceous earth).<br /><br />FILTRATION RATE: The rate at which the water is traveling through the filter, expressed in U.S. gallons per minute (gpm) per square foot of filter area.<br /><br />FLOW RATE: The quantity of water flowing past a designated point within a specified time, such as the number of gallons flowing past a point in 1 minute — also known as gallons per minute or gpm.<br /><br />GUNITE: A mixture of cement and sand sprayed onto contoured and supported surfaces to build a pool. Gunite is mixed and pumped to the site dry, and water is added at the point of application. Plaster is usually applied over the gunite.<br /><br />GUTTER: An overflow trough at the edge of the pool through which floating debris, oil and other
HAND SKIMMER: A screen attached to a frame which is then attached to a telescopic pole used to remove large floating debris, such as leaves and bugs, from the water's surface.

Also known as a skimmer weir." width="100"/>

Is washing your hair too often...

Is washing your hair too often okay?<br /><br />Experts talk about tackling greasiness and how often it is okay to wash your tresses<br /><br />It's certainly hot and you're definitely sweating it out while commuting to work, at the gym or even at home. These increased levels of perspiration might make you feel like washing your hair every day. Experts tackle common questions that you may have about this predicament.<br /><br />Is a daily hair wash okay?<br />It's not necessary to do so, feels city cosmetologist Dr Sama Rais.

Avocado is full of antioxidants and is especially good for those who have coloured hair."" width="100"/>

Fresh Off the Factory Hot Tubs...
